What is the Purpose of this Test?
To evaluate the level of a potent form of testosterone known as 5-alpha-dihydrotestosterone (DHT).
To assess hormonal balance and potential disorders related to DHT.
To diagnose androgen-related disorders in both males and females.
To evaluate conditions like male pattern baldness, excessive hair loss, and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
To investigate hormonal factors contributing to reduced libido in both males and females.
