About Dr. Anurag Jain
Dr. Anurag Jain is a highly efficient neurosurgeon with extensive training in the management of neurosurgical emergencies and elective neurosurgical procedures. Prior to this, he served as a Senior Resident in the Department of Neurosurgery at UCMS & GTB Hospital, New Delhi.
He has been associated with Sir Ganga Ram Hospital since 2017 when he started his Neurosurgery residency and completed in 2023, where he underwent comprehensive training in cranial and spinal neurosurgery. He is experienced in modern neurosurgical techniques including the use of high-speed drills, CUSA, neuroendoscopy, and neuronavigation.
He has a special interest in Endoscopic Brain and Spine Surgeries and Functional Neurosurgery, including MR-guided Focused Ultrasound (MRgFUS), DBS and Radiofrequency lesioning. To further develop expertise in this field, he has completed specialized training including a Functional Neurosurgery Course and observership at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London, and a certificate course in Cranial Endoscopic Surgery from Mumbai.
He has received multiple academic awards and has actively contributed to neurosurgical research, with publication in international journal and presentations at various national and international conferences.
His professional goal is to continue advancing his expertise in functional and advanced neurosurgical techniques while contributing to patient care, academic research, and the advancement of neurosurgery.
